Making it real - into the Kalahari

The true value of our program was realised in my latest adventure in the Northern Kalahari.

It is the summer and the environment is less than kind with regards to the purpose of my visit. I am assisting on a farm as a gift to help them out. Gathering sheep and fixing fences is quite a challenge with aggressive sour grass, bushes and trees filled with thorns and loose hot sand.

The program taught me to breathe from my diaphragm and to keep my thoughts focused on the purpose and value that I am adding.

Picking up a pair of pliers, a shovel or a saw that is baking in the sun is as if you take it from a furnace.

It is incredible to be aware of all the issues and circumstances and yet it seems to be fading in intensity once your mind is under control.

It is as if you become one with the environment and aware of your authority. Instant healing is very important as the next day offers brand new challenges and you need to be mobile and in a good state of mind.

Sweat is a wonderful way to release the toxins and it burns fat effectively.

Making a mistake is costly and takes its toll on the body and emotional state, but it gives me the opportunity not to abuse myself and resets my state of mind to godliness.

The upside is that I am using my clothes that have become too big for me, it would be great if they could last to month end. I will have to develop the faith for that though.

This is a great time to learn about endurance, healing, wisdom and temperance.
