A spiritual awakening has the potential to take apart the foundation of one's reality as you’ve known it, and literally steer you into uncharted waters.
A spiritual path is also a continuous series of high and lows, just like the pattern of a standing frequency wave.
For every high there's a low and the higher the high-flying highs, the lower the low-lying lows will be.
I've willingly (and sometimes reluctantly) started to embrace
these opposing emotions and experiences, navigating myself forward into a more conscious path of spiritual growth.
Afterall "being spiritual" isn't all just about those fantastic ecstatic states, it's also about fully embracing those deeper and darker moments.
It’s only by feeling the contrast of these ups and downs that we’re able to appreciate the moments of flow, joy and often euphoria of creation.
So, excuse me while I'm lying in the fetal position trying to cry my best cry, or attempting a falsetto in the shower in a moment of perfect happiness.
It's just me, being myself, right here, right now, preparing to touch the next one in-line.
